Vineyard / Winery Manager (Agriculture / Wine Industry)

Detailed Job Responsibilities

• Manage complete vineyard operations, including soil preparation, pruning, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting to ensure high-quality grape production.
• Monitor grape growth, maturity levels, and crop health to meet winery quality standards and seasonal production goals.
• Plan and execute harvest schedules in coordination with winery production teams to ensure optimal grape quality and timely processing.
• Supervise farm workers and seasonal labor, assign daily tasks, and ensure productivity and safety during field operations.
• Maintain detailed records of vineyard activities, yield data, weather impact, and input usage for planning and compliance purposes.
• Implement sustainable farming practices and water management systems suitable for Nashik’s climatic conditions.
• Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations, food safety standards, and winery certification requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers for seeds, fertilizers, equipment, and irrigation systems while managing farm budgets efficiently.
• Identify and manage risks related to climate changes, pests, diseases, and crop damage.
• Work closely with winemakers, agronomists, and quality teams to continuously improve grape quality and vineyard performance.
• Train vineyard staff on best agricultural practices and modern viticulture techniques.
