Detailed Job Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, cash books, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and manage invoices, billing statements, and payment follow-ups with customers and vendors.
- Handle GST-related activities such as return filing, reconciliation, compliance tracking, and documentation.
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Monitor expenses, budgets, and cost control measures to support management decision-making.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities during audits and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and financial regulations.
- Manage payroll processing, salary disbursements, and statutory deductions if required.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records for easy retrieval and audit readiness.
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, risks, or improvement opportunities.
- Support management in financial planning, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Handle day-to-day accounting queries from internal departments professionally.
