Production Supervisor (Manufacturing / Industrial Sector)

Location: Nashik MIDC / Industrial Areas

Detailed Job Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day production activities on the shop floor, ensuring that manufacturing operations run smoothly and production targets are achieved within scheduled timelines.
• Allocate manpower, machines, and materials efficiently to avoid downtime and maximize productivity across shifts.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to address machine breakdowns, preventive maintenance schedules, and equipment efficiency issues.
• Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), 5S, and lean manufacturing practices to improve workflow and reduce waste.
• Track production output, rejection rates, and efficiency metrics, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review.
• Train, guide, and motivate operators and technicians to improve performance, discipline, and skill levels.
• Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety norms, conduct safety briefings, and take corrective actions to prevent accidents.
• Work closely with quality control, planning, and logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch of finished goods.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and suggest cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality.
• Handle shift scheduling, attendance, and basic workforce discipline issues on the shop floor.
